Origin details: Gigesa is a small town in the Danbi Uddo Kebele, near the town of Shakiso in the Guji Zone of Ethiopia. The cherries come from 500 coffee growers, each holding approximately 2-5 hectares of farm land, all over 1800 meters above sea level. The Gigesa Washing Station holds USDA and EU Organic Certification.
Additional tasting notes: Black cherry fragrance. Blueberry and maple aromas with flavors of blueberry, cherry, cocoa powder, and rose. Clean aftertaste of lime, orange zest, rue. Mild citric acidity and a medium body with silky mouthfeel.
